Maria Christova, MA, CFA, PMP, FRM, CSC, MEDA, CPA

Financial Services Lead

With over 16 years in capital markets and finance in Canada, Europe and Asia, Maria has held executive positions at TD Securities, RBC Capital Markets and Manulife, spanning responsibilities that include budget management, sales, risk management, product and project management, resource and vendor management. With unwavering focus on results,  she has structured financing for start-ups in the financial, telecommunications and mining space. Maria is certified as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with CPA Ontario, a Project Management Professional under the PMI, Chartered Financial Analyst under the CFA Institute and Financial Risk Manager under GARP. She also holds Canadian Securities Course certification from the Canadian Securities Institute and Management of Enterprise Data Analytics certifications from University of Toronto.

Ed Wipf

Equipment Sales and Financing Lead

With 45 years of experience in comminution circuits, Mr. Wipf specializes in financing, acquisitions and strategic alignment of equipment lines for the company. He occupied various senior technical positions at Allis Chalmers, Koppers, MPSI/Svedala, Aerosion, Metso Minerals, Weir Minerals. He is the author of numerous technical papers related to mining and comminution, and has taught comminution classes at such schools as McGill University and the Colorado School of Mines. He was involved in the development of the Metso Vertimill in the late 1970s, and he developed the Vertimill slaker. He later started and sold the largest lime slaking system in the world. Mr. Wipf has a bachelor’s degree in both Chemical Engineering and Energetics, and has attended Rauma’s Business School for Senior Management and Product Management.

Senior Executive with over 38 years successful background in production, operations, sales, marketing and project management. He has earned a solid reputation as an experience hands-on professional who can quickly motivate and rally a team around a common vision and business goals. Currently working part-time for CIMA+ and before Mining Head for CIMA+, and previously a Vice President Operations for Nemaska Lithium, Labrador Iron Mines. Daniel held Senior Management positions with SNC Lavalin, Orica, McWater Mines, Barrick Gold, and Noranda-Matagami Mine. He is specialized in multidisciplinary mining studies at the pre-feasibility and feasibility stage helping companies securing financing for their projects with a focus in operational efficiency.
